COMPLIANCE COORDINATOR (AUDIT)
Job Description & Requirements
Responsibilities
- Accomplish compliance audit work (auditing of third-party) requirements by orienting, training, and guiding compliance colleagues.
- Prepare for audit by researching materials; formulating a plan of action and terms of reference.
- Assess third-party is in compliance with regulations and controls by conducting interviews, examining and analyzing records, reports, operating practices, and documentation recommending opportunities to strengthen the compliance program and structure.
- Able to travel overseas when required.
- Complete audit work papers by documenting audit tests and findings.
- Communicate audit progress and findings by preparing reports; providing information in meetings.
- Support external auditors, if required, by coordinating information requirements and keeping track of the audit progress.
- Support ad-hoc compliance-related activities in the compliance department.
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree holder with minimum 3 to 5 years' working experience in compliance auditing function and preferably from the oil & gas or related heavy industry.
- A good command of English language and one other language.
- Competent in using Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
- Incumbent with more relevant compliance experience may be considered for senior or lead role.
- Good knowledge in legal compliance or auditing.
- Strong research and analytical skills, including statistical analysis.
- Strong organization, coordination and administrative skills.
- Excellent communication skills and good team player.
